Sunday 26th saw a continuation of the NI Judo Federation Pathway Athlete Education Program. Ciaran May, Human Performance Coach delivered a fantastic session aimed at helping athletes control their nerves at competition, distraction control, focus and visualisation techniques.
NIPS also joined The Judo Academy session delivered by Lead Coach Stephen McCluskey. Over 60 judoka attended the session which focused on 'warm up' techniques that replicate contest scenarios, speed, and awareness.
Video and media were taken and posted on social media for coaching analysis.
next squad dates pencilled in for Saturday 16th December and Saturday 6th January.
