On Saturday 14th January, seventeen members of The Judo Academy attended the NSPCC certified Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults course. The course was delivered by the NI Judo Federation Designated Safeguarding Officer, Russell Brown.
We were joined by coaches from across the country to revalidate and reaffirm NI judo's strong policies to protect our children and those in need of support.
This was part of the BJA Level 1 coaching course requirement, and will be followed up with an emergency first aid for sport course on 28 January 2023 at the same venue.
