The first Judo Academy fighters have been recognised through this year’s Mary Peters Trust Awards.
In recognition of their achievements to date at local, national, UK, and Commonwealth events, Ewan, Quinn, Conall, and Aodhan have received financial support to help their training and competitive development this year.
This will go a long way in maintaining a strong training regime alongside their studies.
Their aim is to continue on an upward trajectory and gain the experience necessary to compete and sustain higher performance levels to achieve representation for Northern Ireland on an international stage.
Many thanks to the NI Judo Federation, NI Pathway Squad and coaching team, and of course, the Mary Peters Trust for their tireless work in engaging young athletes, governing bodies, and volunteers to promote all sports in N. Ireland.
