New fighters excel at NI Schools Championships!

The weekend saw Judo Academy fighters excel locally and in Europe. Seven fighters attended the NI Schools Championship at the Foyle Arena on Sunday. They achieved 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals between them.

Emmett and Marek stepped up for their first experience of competition representing their school winning two fights each and narrowly losing one. A great experience for them both.

Finn and Danya were worthy Gold medalists in the secondary school event, both winning all their fights by ippon in the process.

Jack, Marcus and Luca all achieved bronze medals and gained a great insight to help them progress to the next event.
